FROST

Wednesday morning, per the forecast, there was a tad of frost here on the gulf coast.  Peggy had covered most of the flowers, and everything survived very well.

But the forecast for the following night said it would be warmer.  Instead, Thursday morning we saw a hard frost, and not everything had been covered.  In our yard we now have sick looking banana palms and other such.

I can hardly wait for guests to arrive who we might meet at the St. Petersburg / Tamp airport.  We would then get to drive across the Bob Graham Sunshine Skyway Bridge back into St. Pete... Such a thrill!  The bridge is considered the "flag bridge" of Florida.  (And the name is only part of the reason!)
