Morning, world.
This is Portland. Best breakfast so far.
Yesterday's drive from Princeton was uneventful. Paul suggested a route that avoided the Garden State Parkway (206 to the 287). It was probably slower, but less traffic and less risk of stop-and-go. Still, we were late enough getting away that we likely could have taken the more major highways.
Supper last night was at the Dog Fish Cafe. It really was excellent. We chatted with our neighbours, a couple of portland locals. BJ had peanut butter pie, I had only a bite. Or two.
Given that our La Quinta hotel is in Portland, I need to find a map to get back to the 295. Although I'm sure the desk clerk, or the TomTom, can help with that. I'm mostly worried about construction and detours. And the idiot drivers.
4 hours of driving to St. Stephen.
